Information Network Center began to plan the implementation of campus wireless network construction since 2008 December, covering the teaching buildings in two campuses and some public places. In order to meet the growth of the wireless network users, promote the process of the construction of digital campus, our cooperation with China Mobile company on the campus WIFI wireless network officially started operation in 2012 October, achieving a comprehensive coverage of wireless network in teaching buildings, dormitories and public areas of nearly 120 building.

The wireless network “SWJTUnet” is for CERNET account and China Unicom account which is the same as the internet account of the wireline network. If you want connect to the wireless network “CMCC-EDU” , you should apply an internet account from the China Mobile Communications Corporation.
